What Is Dental Bonding?

The term “bonding” is commonly used within the context of dentistry but is sometimes misunderstood or misused. Dental bonding is the process used to adhere a material such as porcelain or resin to tooth structure. Through the proper preparation of the surface of a tooth, we are able to make extremely strong, conservative and long-lasting changes to your teeth. The strongest bond is to enamel, which is why we usually like to keep as much tooth structure as possible when we restore teeth.

If you have any questions about the bonding process, or are interested in what it can do for your teeth, please get in touch. You can give us a call at (573) 449-2311. If we are not available, we will call you as soon as possible. Or, if you would prefer to not make a call, you can get in touch with us visiting our contact page. Just fill out the form on that page, and we will reach out to you promptly.
